Remote Sales Specialist - Automotive Refinish

About the role

Axalta is looking for a Sales Specialist to grow business and sell solutions to potential customers within a market. The role is fully remote but requires a local presence in Florida, ideally South Florida, to cover the South Florida, Miami and Fort Lauderdale metro area. It is an active opening being filled immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Grow business by selling solutions to segment customers and meet required sales and revenue targets
• Build a pipeline of prospective customers and a professional network within the industry
• Research the market, find value drivers and share accurate, timely updates with management
• Take part in preparing and running sales plans, events and campaigns
• Present Axalta solutions to key decision makers at prospective companies
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver results
• Maintain accurate account and contact data in Salesforce

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years of Automotive Refinish industry experience
• 5+ years of direct selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals; experience with top-tier clients preferred
• Strong business development and prospecting skills
• Knowledge of the collision repair, commercial transportation and industrial environments and distribution fundamentals
• Working knowledge of Axalta's core product lines and repair shop business
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and a valid driver's license

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Competent computer skills
• Effective written and oral communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
