About the role

The Rehab Tech works under direct on‑premises supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist, providing therapeutic modality treatments, preparing therapy areas, and transporting patients safely.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and maintain work area for treatment, including ordering supplies and pharmaceuticals.
Assist patients with treatments as directed by the therapist and transport them via wheelchair or stretcher.
Monitor patient care according to therapist instructions and maintain equipment cleanliness and safety.
Perform isolation techniques per Infection Control policy and assist with front‑desk procedures.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in healthcare sciences preferred.
No prior experience required; 5 years relevant experience is a plus.
Ability to travel between facilities and adapt behavior to diverse patient populations.

Required skills

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
