About the role

The Pediatric Primary Care Clinic at River Ridge is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a PRN basis to provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, under the supervision of a registered nurse. This position is integral to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to children in the Metairie‑New Orleans area.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to assigned pediatric patients, following the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.
Perform IV therapy and other clinical procedures as needed.
Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff, the multidisciplinary team, and other personnel to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.

Required profile

Current LPN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

IV therapy competency (preferred).
Basic Life Support (BLS) proficiency.
