About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking dedicated Family Medicine Physicians to join its Metairie clinic. You will provide comprehensive, non‑surgical care for children and adults, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases and injuries for patients of all ages.
- Develop and document complete medical histories, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
- Refer patients to specialists when needed while maintaining overall responsibility for their care.
Required profile
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) and a valid Louisiana medical license.
- Completion of an accredited family medicine residency program.
