Registered Nurse – Neonatal ICU (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital and provide stellar care in a Magnet‑recognized NICU. The unit delivers 24‑hour neonatology services, advanced respiratory care and family‑centered treatment for ill neonates and extremely low birth weight infants. As a Registered Nurse you will deliver direct nursing care, implement care plans and coordinate discharge planning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates in accordance with policies and protocols.
• Implement, monitor and adjust patient care plans.
• Record, monitor and communicate patient condition to the care team.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and serve as primary liaison.
• Execute physician and nursing orders and manage medication administration.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge planning needs.

Required profile

• Minimum qualifications: graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN), current RN license, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least one year of acute care or military RN experience.
• Preferred qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), experience in Adult ICU or Medical/Surgical units, and prior NICU experience.

Required skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
