Registered Nurse – Med/Surg & Telemetry

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to work on its 6 North/South Med/Surg and Telemetry units. You will provide direct patient care for adults with medical and surgical diagnoses, supporting patients and families throughout the care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation.
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient conditions, communicate changes to the care team, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self‑care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Minimum one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for critical‑care areas.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if hired in a critical‑care area).
