Registered Nurse – Med Surg & Telemetry

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as a Registered Nurse on the Med/Surg & Telemetry unit, providing comprehensive care for adult patients with medical and surgical diagnoses in a Magnet‑recognized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement, monitor, and update patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.
• Document and communicate patient conditions accurately.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification.
• One year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.
• Ability to work days 7:00 am–7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if hired in a critical care area.
• RN licensure and ability to administer medications.
