About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a Registered Nurse on the Med Surg unit at the Chabert Campus, working the night shift. You will provide high‑quality patient care within a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Key responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, effective patient care and assess learning needs of patients and families.
Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Utilize data and evidence‑based practice to evaluate outcomes and drive improvements.
Adapt interactions to respect cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity and maintain patient privacy.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Valid RN licensure.
Basic Life Support certification.
