Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital’s Labor and Delivery team to provide high‑quality birthing care on the night shift. You will work across labor, triage, operating rooms, PACU and postpartum areas, supporting mothers and newborns in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate and update patient care plans.
• Record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families about maternal‑child care.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (upon hire or within first year).
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN experience considered).

Required skills

• Active RN licensure.
