Registered Nurse – Imaging

About the role

The Imaging Department at Marymount Hospital provides 24/7 radiology services, including mammography, MRI, and interventional radiology. The Registered Nurse delivers patient‑centered care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and assessments for patients receiving imaging services.
• Document findings, notify physicians of abnormalities, and perform telephone triage.
• Administer treatments and medications, establish care plans, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Cover additional nursing roles within the department as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and at least one year of recent RN experience (or equivalent LPN experience).
• Basic Life Support certification; ACLS certification required for moderate sedation areas.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work days 8:00 am‑4:30 pm with on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• RN licensure and competency in diagnostic imaging nursing procedures.
