Registered Nurse – ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit at Marymount Hospital seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high‑acuity care for critically ill patients. You will work rotating day/night shifts in a 28‑bed ICU, supporting patients, families, and the care team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and document patient conditions.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy assistance, central line placement, continuous renal replacement therapy, pronation, and therapeutic hypothermia.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and communicate physician orders.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience in a hospital setting (military RN experience considered).
• Current Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within one year of hire.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Proficiency in acute‑care nursing procedures and patient monitoring.
