Registered Nurse – High Risk OB

About the role

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its High Risk Obstetrics team. The RN will provide comprehensive care to women and birthing people with high‑risk conditions throughout the patient care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high‑risk obstetric patients.
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans.
• Record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions and progress.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health information.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if working in critical care.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
