About the role
The Float Pool RN provides flexible nursing support across multiple departments and locations within Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, delivering high‑quality patient care and education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician and nursing orders.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions; develop, update, and evaluate care plans.
- Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge needs.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN).
- Current state RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within six months of hire for procedural sedation areas.
- Preferred: BSN degree and at least one year of RN experience.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- RN licensure and ability to administer medications.
