Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 24/7 Emergency Department at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights. This position offers a supportive environment for new graduates or early‑career nurses to develop acute care skills while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and perform treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions, and update care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute care or military RN experience.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS; ENPC required on hire or within 24 months; PALS within one year.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
