Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health will work on the 5th Floor Complex Medicine Unit at Marymount Hospital, providing direct care to adult medical‑surgical patients with multiple comorbidities in a telemetry environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, updating plans as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families, addressing cultural and special concerns.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with attending providers during daily plan‑of‑care visits.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience in a hospital setting.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and documentation.
