Regional Scientific Director – Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Medical Scientific Director specializing in cardiopulmonary and pulmonary hypertension to lead scientific exchange and support research activities across the Mid‑Atlantic territory. The role combines independent scientific engagement with collaboration across our Research & Development and Medical Affairs teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage relationships with national and regional scientific leaders, investigators and clinical practice leaders to address scientific needs.
• Conduct peer‑level scientific discussions, provide non‑product scientific information and integrate insights into research strategies.
• Represent the Research & Development division at scientific meetings, contribute to debriefs and post‑congress reports.
• Support data generation activities, act as liaison for investigator‑initiated studies and identify investigators for phase II‑IV clinical programs.
• Communicate external stakeholder feedback on new data, clinical trends and evolving medical landscape to internal teams.

Required profile

• MD, PhD, PharmD or other relevant advanced degree in pulmonary hypertension.
• Minimum three years experience in biotech/pharma or healthcare, including clinical or research work in cardiovascular & pulmonary therapeutic areas, or five years as a Medical Scientific Liaison.
• Demonstrated scientific excellence and a record of publications or clinical research in the therapeutic area.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and networking abilities.
