Regional Recruiting Manager

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is looking for an experienced, results-driven Recruiting Manager to lead recruiting and onboarding operations for its Washington, DC and Northern Virginia branches. The role oversees a team of Regional Recruiters, Candidate Experience Specialists and Onboarding Specialists, and is based in the Washington DC office, Monday to Friday, with some travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of exempt and non-exempt employees, set performance expectations and coach and mentor team members.
• Oversee full-life-cycle recruiting operations, sourcing strategies and technology, and track metrics such as time-to-fill, interviews and offers.
• Manage the post-offer pipeline, including background screening, employment verifications and pre-employment documentation, so candidates move smoothly to onboarding.
• Supervise Onboarding Specialists and make sure New Employee Orientation classes are scheduled, attended and completed correctly.
• Keep recruiting, hiring and onboarding compliant with federal, state and local employment laws and company policy.
• Work with branch and regional leadership to align hiring with staffing needs and growth plans, and report regularly on recruiting performance.

Required profile

• Aged over 21, with a valid driver's license and ability to travel to the DC and Northern Virginia branches.
• At least 3 years of full-life-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience, preferably with a large hourly workforce.
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience, including coaching and managing non-exempt employees.
• Knowledge of employment laws, civil rights legislation and hiring practices.

Required skills

• Applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS.
• Microsoft Office.
• Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and improve processes.
