Regional Medical Scientific Director, Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension

About the role

The Regional Medical Scientific Director for Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension will lead scientific exchange and research support across the Central Plains territory. The role focuses on building relationships with external scientific leaders, supporting data generation, and informing internal strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, establish and manage collaborative relationships with national, regional and clinical practice scientific leaders and investigators.
• Conduct peer‑level scientific discussions, provide non‑product scientific information, and act as the primary liaison for investigator‑initiated studies.
• Support data generation activities, including company‑sponsored trials and Independent Investigator Study Programs.
• Communicate external stakeholder insights to Medical Affairs and Research & Development teams.
• Represent the Research & Development Division at scientific meetings and contribute to post‑conference reporting.

Required profile

• MD, PhD, PharmD or other relevant advanced degree in Pulmonary Hypertension.
• Minimum three years in biotech/pharma or healthcare, with clinical/research experience in cardiovascular & pulmonary therapeutic areas, or five years as a Medical Scientific Liaison.
• Demonstrated scientific excellence and strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills.

Required skills

• Deep therapeutic competency in cardiovascular and pulmonary/translational science.
• Ability to network with scientific leaders, investigators, and academic institutions.
• Knowledge of GCP, SOPs and regulatory/ethical standards.
