Referral Management Clerk – Onsite in Misawa, Japan

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Referral Management Clerk to join its team at the Misawa medical facility in Japan. This full‑time, onsite position supports compliance, patient safety, and performance improvement activities within a Department of the Navy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, Navy regulations, and local health‑care licensing requirements.
• Participate in peer‑review, performance‑improvement programs, and Family Advocacy Program activities.
• Respond to emergency patient situations, document events, and notify supervisors when needed.
• Attend mandatory annual training (e.g., infection control, CBRNE, sexual harassment).
• Assist in in‑service training for clinic staff and attend government‑directed meetings.
• Operate and manipulate automated health‑record systems to support clinical performance improvement.

Required profile

• Knowledge of military health‑care regulations and medical staff bylaws.
• Ability to work calmly under emergency conditions and follow established protocols.
• Strong awareness of legal and risk‑management issues in patient care.
• Willingness to attend all required training and participate in performance‑improvement initiatives.
