Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant

About the role

Provide individualized health care services by performing radiographic procedures and supporting patients and physicians throughout their visit. Communicate effectively with diverse patients and ensure accurate documentation of medical information.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits, complete registration, explain procedures, and answer questions.
• Verify physician orders, operate radiology equipment, and perform imaging according to protocol, including contrast administration.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, conduct quality control, and handle regulatory compliance.
• Assist with departmental operations such as inventory, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Act as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration and state licensure, plus Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.

Required skills

• Operation of radiographic equipment and radiology information systems.
• Administration of contrast agents, nasogastric tubes, IVs, and urinary catheters.
• Computer data entry, Windows‑style applications, and related software.
• Image quality assessment and quality control procedures.
