Psychometrist II – Childrens Hospital Rehabilitation

About the role

The Psychometrist II provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessment support for children and adolescents referred for attention, executive functioning, ADHD and related concerns. Working within a supervised, collaborative evaluation team, the role handles intake, testing, reporting and feedback under the guidance of a licensed psychologist.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes with caregivers and children to clarify referral concerns and functional impairments.
• Administer, score and interpret age‑appropriate psychological and psychoeducational instruments related to attention, executive functioning, learning and emotional behavior.
• Integrate collateral data such as rating scales, academic records and school documentation.
• Synthesize findings to support diagnostic impressions and develop school‑relevant recommendations.
• Draft comprehensive evaluation reports and participate in results/feedback sessions with families.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; Master’s degree or Board Certified Psychometrist preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Psychometrist or equivalent role.
• Experience with neuropsychological behavioral assessments and test batteries.
• Ability to work independently, maintain accurate records and follow clinical workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency in administering and scoring standardized psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
• Knowledge of neuropsychological test batteries and rating‑scale integration.
• Strong observational and documentation skills for behavioral observations during testing.
