Registered Nurse – Children’s Rehab Hospital (Night Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation seeks a night‑shift Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical and rehabilitation needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and families throughout their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and record patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs, educate patients and families, and ensure cultural considerations are addressed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members during 24/7 rounds.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification.
• Within one year of hire, obtain and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with weekend and holiday rotation.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (to be achieved within one year).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
