Registered Nurse – Children’s Rehabilitation

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct care for pediatric patients with complex medical and rehabilitation needs during night shifts. You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on helping children and families move forward and transition home safely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders, including medication administration.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Within one year of hire, achieve Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Preferred: BSN degree, rehabilitation and pediatric experience.
