Provider Recruitment Coordinator

About the role

The Provider Recruitment Coordinator supports the onboarding and credentialing of physicians, APPs, and locum tenens. This full‑time position works closely with Medical Staff Services and the recruitment team to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Medical Staff Services on credentialing, privileging, and onboarding timelines.
• Oversee and track onboarding processes for all providers, ensuring timely start readiness.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding scheduling, logistics, and next steps.
• Coordinate phone, virtual, and on‑site interviews, preparing itineraries, welcome materials, and onboarding packets.
• Manage candidate travel logistics, including flights, lodging, transportation, and meals.
• Support locum tenens coordination, scheduling, onboarding, and assignment readiness.
• Assist recruiters in maintaining candidate pipelines and tracking recruitment activity.
• Track recruitment and onboarding metrics, supporting reporting and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Manager and recruitment team.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience in recruitment or administrative support.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and travel several days by car, plane, or public transport.
• Flexible schedule to respond to candidates and attend events after normal business hours.
