Senior Payroll Specialist

About the role

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for its unionized manufacturing workforce. The role ensures accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance with all applicable laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now.
• Review and reconcile time‑and‑attendance records, including overtime, shift premiums, vacation and holiday pay.
• Administer payroll deductions, garnishments, benefit deductions and other payroll‑related transactions.
• Handle employee status changes such as new hires, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence and terminations.
• Respond to payroll inquiries in English and Spanish and support audits, year‑end processing, W‑2 preparation and reporting.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years processing payroll in a unionized workplace.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage‑and‑hour regulations and payroll taxes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
