About the role

AT&T is seeking a strategic Lead Talent Acquisition professional to drive full‑cycle recruiting for mission‑critical, security‑cleared positions supporting its Federal Solutions teams. This full‑time onsite role is based in Columbia, Maryland and reports directly to senior hiring leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruiting from intake through onboarding for domestic government roles.
• Partner with business leaders, program managers and hiring teams to design recruiting strategies aligned with workforce plans.
• Source, assess and hire candidates for highly specialized positions requiring active security clearances up to Full Scope Polygraph.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical skill sets and future growth initiatives.
• Guide hiring teams through structured interview and selection processes to ensure compliant, objective decisions.
• Manage offer development, negotiations and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Collaborate with security, onboarding, compliance and HR teams to ensure a seamless hiring process.
• Provide insights on recruiting performance, pipeline health, hiring risks and labor‑market trends.
• Mentor recruiting team members and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of talent acquisition experience in government, defense, national security or mission‑critical environments.
• Proven success sourcing and hiring for hard‑to‑fill, specialized positions.
• Experience recruiting candidates with active security clearances.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
