Contract Recruiter / Sourcer (6‑month assignment)

About the role

SunEnergy1 is looking for a proactive Contract Recruiter / Sourcer to strengthen its talent acquisition for utility‑scale solar and energy infrastructure projects. The role will focus on sourcing, engaging and qualifying candidates for technical, engineering, construction, project management and corporate positions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking and other channels.
• Recruit for engineering, construction, project management, field operations and corporate roles.
• Engage passive candidates and build pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Review resumes, conduct initial screening calls and assess qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to prioritize requisitions and develop sourcing strategies.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline updates in the applicant tracking system.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting or talent sourcing experience.
• Proven success sourcing candidates for technical, engineering, construction or project management roles.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong candidate engagement, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and meet recruiting deadlines independently.
• Experience in renewable energy, utilities, EPC or construction recruiting preferred.
• Based in the Charlotte, NC area and able to collaborate on‑site as needed.
