The Sr. Director, Payroll Operations leads payroll services across all business entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. This senior position balances strategic vision with day‑to‑day operational oversight to support growth and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for payroll operations across multiple locations and entities.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing for all employees.
• Establish and maintain operational standards, governance processes, and service‑level expectations.
• Develop long‑term payroll strategies that enable scalability and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage‑and‑hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee payroll audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control assessments.
• Lead enterprise payroll transformation initiatives, driving automation, standardization, and process optimization.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize payroll technologies and system integrations.
• Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and performance metrics.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and executive leadership to support business objectives, acquisitions, and integrations.
