HR Manager: Field Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our field operations team within a growing construction company. This permanent, full‑time position will shape the employee experience, drive talent acquisition, and ensure compliance with HR policies across all on‑site locations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee talent acquisition, from recruiting and interviewing to hiring and onboarding new field staff.
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures that meet legal requirements and support company objectives.
• Manage performance assessment processes, ensuring fairness and alignment with business goals.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including 401(k) and health insurance enrollment.
• Provide guidance on conflict resolution, change management, and employee relations.
• Conduct regular compensation and benefits reviews to keep the organization competitive.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive work environment.
• Deliver training and resources to field teams to support their success.
• Lead HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives and diversity & inclusion programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in a senior HR role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Experience managing HR functions for field operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP) preferred.
