Lead Benefits Analyst

About the role

The Lead Benefits Analyst supports Kingman Healthcare’s vision by overseeing benefit operations, ensuring compliance, and guiding staff through benefit selections. This position reports to the Manager of Total Rewards and serves as a first‑level escalation point for HR specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Manager of Total Rewards to align daily benefit operations, technical implementations, and compliance initiatives.
• Provide operational troubleshooting for HR specialists, resolve vendor disputes, and guide new hires through benefit selections.
• Calculate quarterly 403(b) matches, process seniority dates, and assist with annual retirement audits.
• Perform bi‑weekly payroll deduction reconciliations, manage enrollment files, and correct data discrepancies.
• Coordinate the annual open enrollment process, staff communications, and workplace wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and FMLA.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher; associate’s degree or higher in business, HR administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience in human resources, benefits administration, or leave management.
• Experience coordinating workflow and serving as an escalation point for HR support staff.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for managing large data sets.
• Experience with enterprise HR systems such as Oracle Cloud HCM and UKG Time and Attendance.
• Strong analytical and data‑reconciliation abilities.
