Proposal Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring a fully remote Proposal Specialist to help its teams win new business by developing high-quality, compliant and persuasive RFP/RFQ responses. The role works with technical subject matter experts to deliver proposals that show technical capability, project experience and client value. Preference is given to candidates on the U.S. East Coast, though other U.S. locations are considered if they have experience with public-sector RFP/RFQ pursuits.

Key responsibilities

• Review and vet RFP and RFQ opportunities with regional leadership and subject matter experts, coordinating timely and accurate submissions
• Draft the initial proposal, tailor it to each client's needs and ensure compliance and accuracy
• Ensure the security and integrity of all proposal documentation
• Facilitate internal review of proposal inputs and direct production of the final master proposal
• Maintain response timelines so deadlines are met
• Help develop and maintain proposal best practices and take on ad hoc work such as RFP follow-ups and proposal library updates

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 1 year of project management experience
• At least 1 year of proofreading and editing experience
• Preferred: 8-10 years of related experience and 5+ years of proposal management experience

What we offer

• Starting pay of $75,000 - $90,000 annually
