Production Manager

About the role

Warren Controls Corporation seeks an experienced, hands‑on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across CNC machining, assembly, and product testing. Reporting to the Managing Director of Operations, you will be responsible for safety, quality, on‑time delivery, productivity and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for CNC machining, assembly and testing to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Manage, coach and develop six Production Team Leaders, setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Own production schedule execution, monitor attainment, identify risks and implement recovery plans.
• Balance labor, machine capacity, materials and priorities while addressing bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles, standard work, 5S and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Finance to resolve issues and improve cost performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead front‑line supervisors and production teams in a CNC machining environment.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning and workflow management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• U.S. citizenship required due to facility requirements.

Required skills

• CNC machining operations knowledge (set‑ups, cycle times, tooling, machine utilization).
• Experience with manufacturing ERP/MRP systems, preferably Epicor or Infor ERP.
• Lean Manufacturing expertise, including standard work, 5S, root‑cause analysis and waste reduction.
