About the role
ETAP is seeking a Senior Power System Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and delivery of microgrid projects worldwide. This hands‑on, customer‑facing position bridges power system engineering, control, operation, and software development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead power system and microgrid studies from concept through operation, including design, modeling, and validation of control strategies.
- Develop microgrid controller functionalities using C# and Python, and provide technical leadership as the primary customer contact.
- Support field testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of microgrid projects globally.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and clients across worldwide projects.
Required profile
- PhD with 3+ years or Master’s with 5+ years of relevant experience in power systems/electrical engineering.
- Proven experience delivering microgrid and power system field projects.
- Strong background in power system studies and analyses.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work on hybrid schedule.
