Sr. Engineering Technician – Advanced Development

About the role

The Sr. Engineering Technician will support the build, integration, testing, and maintenance of prototype vehicles and test benches, as well as software‑integrated prototype vehicles. Advanced diagnostic skills and deep automotive system knowledge are required.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software systems on prototype vehicles.
• Fabricate or modify prototype components and fixtures.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and keep test equipment operational.
• Install instrumentation, test equipment, and other components per engineering specifications.
• Communicate with engineers and technicians to provide high‑level technical support.
• Load, transport, and test‑drive prototype vehicles on closed tracks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience; electric/hybrid experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; Class A CDL a plus.
• Minimum age 21, no recent driving suspensions or serious violations.
