Materials & SIOP Leader

About the role

The Materials & SIOP Leader will drive materials transformation across manufacturing and distribution sites, partnering with plant and supply‑chain teams to improve cash flow, inventory turns and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment of the SBU Materials/SIOP Management System, coaching sites on Business Operating System standards.
• Design and execute inventory‑reduction strategies that boost inventory turns and reduce working capital.
• Architect lean material‑flow solutions such as pull systems, kanban, supermarkets, point‑of‑use inventory and kitting.
• Support value‑stream analysis and operational‑excellence initiatives to achieve one‑piece flow and line‑side replenishment.
• Identify and eliminate material‑flow constraints impacting TAKT, schedule adherence and on‑time shipping.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or business; MBA desirable.
• 7‑10 years of experience in materials management, supply‑chain planning, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing.
• Operational continuous‑improvement experience (Six Sigma and/or lean).

Required skills

• APICS CPIM certification (preferred).
• Six Sigma methodology.
• Lean manufacturing principles.
• Kanban and pull‑system implementation.
• Inventory management and MRP systems.
