Procurement Solutions Architect

About the role

Ramp is seeking an experienced Procurement Solutions Architect to lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise procurement and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) initiatives. You will act as the primary procurement SME throughout the sales cycle, partnering with product, engineering, and post‑sales teams to shape the roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deep‑dive discovery sessions on procurement workflows, vendor management, sourcing, approvals, catalog strategy, and 3‑way match requirements.
• Map customer requirements to Ramp’s capabilities, design scalable workarounds, and build pre‑sale implementation plans.
• Conduct integration assessments, including API workflow validation, SFTP/data exchange, and security/permissions modeling.
• Partner with Sales to win complex enterprise deals and provide structured feedback to Product.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, P2P, ERP, or similar technical implementation roles.
• Hands‑on experience designing or implementing P2P solutions such as Coupa, Ariba, Workday, NetSuite, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage C‑suite and VP‑level stakeholders.

• API development and integration
• SFTP, data migration, SCIM/SAML
• ERP financial objects (Vendor Master, PO, Invoice, Receipt)
• Experience with P2P platforms (Coupa, Ariba, Workday, NetSuite, Ivalua, Zip)
