Private Banker – Vice President/Executive Director (US Private Bank)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Private Banker at the Vice President or Executive Director level to join J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank. The role involves advising high‑net‑worth families on wealth building, preservation and management, leveraging the firm’s investment, credit and banking capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients, delivering tailored advice across their balance sheet.
• Generate new business and acquire assets through both client referrals and new client acquisition.
• Provide holistic wealth planning, including asset allocation, investment management, credit, and banking solutions.
• Collaborate with internal specialists and across J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. lines of business to meet client objectives.
• Ensure all activities comply with risk, regulatory and security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in private banking or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, JD, CFA, CFP) preferred.
• Proven sales track record and strong business acumen.
• Established network and community presence.
• Ability to obtain Series 7, 66 and insurance licenses within 90 days if not already held.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts.
• Knowledge of equity, fixed‑income and alternative investment markets.
