Auditor – Internal Audit & SOX 404 (Hybrid)

About the role

Entergy Services is seeking qualified auditors to join its internal audit team in a hybrid work environment. Depending on experience, candidates will be placed at the Auditor I, II, or III level and will support risk‑based assessments, internal controls testing, and process improvement initiatives across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits, prepare work papers, and document evidence in line with IIA standards.
• Identify risks, assess SOX 404 controls, and evaluate the effectiveness of the COSO framework.
• Engage with management to discuss findings, verify facts, and propose remediation actions.
• Assist in drafting formal audit reports with clear recommendations.
• Participate in enterprise‑wide risk assessments and support ERM activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Relevant experience: 0‑2 years for Auditor I, 2‑4 years for Auditor II, 4‑6 years for Auditor III.
• Knowledge of IIA audit standards, ERM, Sarbanes‑Oxley 404, COSO, and leading control frameworks such as CoBit.
