Pre-Op/PACU RN – Full-Time 0.9 FTE, M-F with Call, $5k Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

The Pre‑Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the peri‑operative setting, ensuring safety and high‑quality outcomes for surgical patients. This full‑time position includes on‑call responsibilities and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to hospital policies, including medication administration, patient teaching, and infection prevention.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate pertinent information to physicians and the care team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, support teamwork, and adapt to changes in the clinical environment.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Missouri or a Compact State.
• At least one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb, stand, walk, and perform other physical tasks required in a PACU setting.

Required skills

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
