Key responsibilities

• Follow hospital policies for patient safety, infection prevention, safe handling, and critical lab notifications.
• Maintain and care for central lines and prevent surgical site infections.
• Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and educate patients and families.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and document all care activities.
• Communicate patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in Missouri (or compact licensure) – graduates must obtain licensure within 90 days.
• One year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates are considered.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
