About the role

Ochsner Health and LSU Health Sciences Center are seeking a fellowship‑trained Nephrologist to join the Division of Nephrology in Monroe, LA. This full‑time academic position combines patient care with teaching responsibilities, supporting medical students, residents and fellows.

Key responsibilities

Provide high‑quality care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, critical‑care nephrology, glomerulonephritis, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and renal complications of systemic cancer.
Participate in teaching activities, mentor trainees, and contribute to the academic mission of the department.

Required profile

Board‑certified/board‑eligible in Nephrology and eligible for active Louisiana licensure.
Experience in managing dialysis access, transplant nephrology, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
