Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Primary Care (Full‑Time)

About the role

This full‑time position provides primary and urgent care within a collaborative outpatient model. Working under the supervision of the Medical Director, the practitioner will partner with physicians, nurses, and discharge coordinators to deliver comprehensive patient management.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize approved medical practice processes to deliver patient care across physical, psycho‑social, and educational dimensions.
• Provide education to patients, families, staff, and the community, and support resident and medical student teaching.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to respect patient privacy and specific population needs.
• Maintain emergency stabilization capabilities and participate in discharge planning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Current APRN license in the state of practice, with eligibility for prescriptive authority.
• ANCC or AANPCP certification for Family, Adult/Geriatric, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• BCLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on‑call.

• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and role‑specific software.
• Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS/ACLS) competencies.
