Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Rehab

About the role

Phelps Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join its inpatient acute rehabilitation unit in Rolla, MO. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and guide recovery day by day in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy daily.
• Educate nursing staff and families on follow‑through programs to sustain progress.
• Document care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Physical Therapy clinical skills.
