Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care

About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide inpatient acute‑care services at Marymount Hospital, working with neuro and orthopedic patients as part of a joint‑replacement team. This part‑time position offers a schedule of 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, three days per week, with the possibility of additional shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
• Develop, revise, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Deliver therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques appropriate to age and condition.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to meet heavy‑level physical demands, including walking, climbing stairs, and lifting patients.
