About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Physical Therapy seeks a part‑time, temporary Physical Therapist Educator Assistant to support graduate DPT students in practical and laboratory sessions. The role involves direct, hands‑on instruction and feedback during scheduled class periods.

Key responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one and in small groups with DPT students during structured laboratory experiences.
• Collaborate with core faculty to implement scheduled laboratory activities.
• Attend associated lectures to prepare for laboratory sessions.
• Provide oral and written feedback on student performance.
• Deliver guest lectures in areas of expertise as needed.
• Assist with grading, scoring, and practical examinations.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervising faculty or the DPT program director.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Current Florida license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
