Physical Therapist Assistant – Sports (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join Ochsner’s sports rehabilitation team as a part‑time Physical Therapist Assistant. You will deliver routine treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring high‑quality patient care and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress in daily notes and communicate any status changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with documentation standards and policies.
• Participate in staff projects, achieve productivity targets, and may assist in training other staff.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• No prior work experience required.
