Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT)

About the role

Join NeurAbilities Healthcare as a Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT) and work one‑to‑one with children in clinic, home, or school settings. You will apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst to help clients improve communication, social, and independent living skills.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ABA interventions according to individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct support to clients in various settings (clinic, home, school).
• Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress.
• Assist with client program materials and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate others about ABA strategies and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: at least 6 months experience working with children or adolescents with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation to travel between service locations.

Required skills

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation.
• Data collection and basic record‑keeping.
