People Rewards Specialist – Benefits (Nashville, TN)

About the role

As a People Rewards Specialist (also known as a Benefits Specialist) you will support the delivery and administration of employee benefits and leave programs across North America for Philips. You will ensure smooth benefits operations, from system administration and open enrollment support to vendor coordination and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the service center and rewards services, managing escalated employee cases through ServiceNow, Health Advocate, Alight and other vendors.
• Administer the Businessolver benefits platform, overseeing enrollment, eligibility, carrier billing, dependent verification and content updates.
• Support the annual Open Enrollment process, including system testing, communications and handling complex employee inquiries.
• Facilitate benefits program administration such as life events, benefit appeals, retiree claims, scholarship programs and employee perks.
• Maintain benefits communication and content on the People Portal and coordinate email campaigns and mailers.
• Support regulatory and compliance activities, including annual notices, PCORI fees, Form 5500 coordination and periodic audits.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR operations (or 4 years with vocational education).
• Bachelor’s degree or vocational education in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with Businessolver benefits platform.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, Health Advocate, Alight and other HRIS/benefits systems.
• Vendor relationship management for benefits providers.
