About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) on the Parkview III Complex Medical Care unit. You will work nights providing supportive care to post‑operative patients across a range of surgical specialties.

Key responsibilities

Assist patients with vital signs, weight, personal care, activities of daily living, and patient transfers.
Perform point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, apply external monitoring devices, and remove urinary Foley catheters.
Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the supervising RN.
Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain during new‑hire period).
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred.
Physical ability to lift and move patients and perform medium‑work tasks.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) credential (preferred).
