Part‑Time Social Media Content Specialist

About the role

The Social Media Content Specialist will create and execute engaging visual content for Greystar’s property‑level social channels. Working with national and local marketing teams, you will travel to properties, capture high‑quality photo and video, and publish short‑form videos on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to properties to shoot and produce photo and video content for organic social media.
• Coordinate with on‑site staff to schedule shoots and identify key spaces to highlight.
• Capture, edit and upload short‑form video optimized for Reels and TikTok using tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms, applying current trends, color grading and aesthetic standards.
• Track hours worked and mileage in compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or a related field.
• Portfolio of short‑form video work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for up to 50% travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere or similar.
• Experience operating cameras, gimbals, tripods and other stabilization equipment.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook platform trends.
• Ability to edit video with pacing, hooks, text overlays and royalty‑free music.
